Unfortunately, at lunch ITB wasn't available for Mac – but now my dream has come true and I was able to buy and play it this weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed FTL and I was really looking forward to seeing ITB come out (having spent hundreds of hours on Advance Wars on GBA/3DS). You are guaranteed several hours of absolute pleasure! To me friends who wishlisted the game: definitely a BUY whenever you get the next email about this game being on sale.

Just look at Amanita Design or Subset Games or Lucas Pope, who both excel in that. I hope the developer continues to create similar masterpieces, if you have such a gift – you must focus on building the team/environment to stay productive. Now that I finished playing, I can confirm that the game is beautiful, with immersive sound design and original game mechanics – and it is totally worth the price, because you have to think of all the effort that a developer has to put into creating such a work of art.

My only concern was whether it's really as short as some reviews mentioned, as I was paying full price (€15). Reading the reviews, I was certain that the game will be amazing. Ironically, I bought the game after seeing it in the announcement of new products for Epic Store – I just finished playing Botanicula with my kid, and we were looking for something similarly beautiful to follow up.

The developers have my wallet open for any sequel in this series for sure! Here's hoping that eventually we see Little Mouse's Encyclopedia part II – maybe about volcanoes and earthquakes, or maybe about Little Mouse going to explore planets and universe in general. I would love to see more games coming out in this series, and in the perfect world I'll be able to get a 'Little Mouse Season Pass' and get one new game every month or two -).

Here, the game is like an open book inviting your kids to play with it in a variety of ways, always learning in the process. I'm so, so tired of commercial mainstream 'games for kids' that mostly exploit the love of children to the brands and characters already established in film/TV. What I love about this game?
